Family Medicine Physician
The Family Medicine Physician under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, will perform full scope family practice in the medical clinic. The Physician will provide quality and cost effective primary care services to the KHP patient population, meeting their diverse health and social needs. The Physician will perform complete examinations of patients and screen all patients for health maintenance needs, in a relationship based model of care with a team of health providers. The Physician will document clinical observations, adhere to industry standards and conduct chart reviews to ensure compliance. The ideal Physician for this position will have the ability to connect respectfully with patients and carry out responsibilities within the mission of KHP. The Physician will ensure all functions of assessments and referrals are done in accordance with all governing regulations and KHP policies, practices, and procedures.

Family Nurse Practitioner
The Family Nurse Practitioner performs primary care and health promotion services—including school physicals, immunization and well-child clinics, well-woman clinics, adult focus clinics, blood pressure screening clinics, nutritional counseling, and family planning counseling—for patients under the direction of professional medical providers.

Dentist

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner works as part of an integrated interdisciplinary team serving individuals with behavioral health problems within a primary health care setting. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner handles crisis intervention needs, and maintains a daily schedule of individual and/or group therapeutic treatments. In addition to treating severe and persistent mental health issues (SPMI,) they assess and diagnose patients, provide psychotherapy and prescribe medication. This may include substance abuse and social skills interventions such as areas of domestic violence. In all cases, they work closely with primary care providers and other team members to develop specific behavioral change plans for patients that often experience complicated medical needs.

Mental Health Therapist

Registered Nurse

Dental Assistant
The Dental Assistant is responsible for a variety of technical duties while assisting the dentist in the examination and treatment of patients. Working chair-side, the Dental Assistant hands instruments and materials to the dentist and dries the patient’s mouth with suction equipment during treatments. The Dental Assistant performs related duties involved in the care and maintenance of dental instruments, equipment, and supplies. The Dental Assistant may also mix filling compounds, take impressions of teeth, and provide patients with postoperative instructions.
